Terms & Conditions
The following terms apply to all truck hire bookings and second-hand part purchases at Never General Dealer, Klerksoord AH, Akasia. By making a booking or purchase you agree to these terms. Please read them before booking, and ask our team if anything is unclear.
1. Bookings & confirmation
Bookings are made telephonically or via WhatsApp. All bookings are subject to vehicle availability and confirmed by our team. We recommend booking in advance, especially for larger vehicles (15-ton and 34-ton).
2. Rates & payment
Hire rates are charged per kilometre (4-ton R35/km, 8-ton R50/km, 15-ton R60/km, 34-ton R70/km) and include an experienced, professional driver. A fuel surcharge may apply on long hauls. A deposit may be required for large or long-distance bookings. Payment arrangements are confirmed at the time of booking.
3. Vehicle & load limits
The load must never exceed the stated tonnage of the hired vehicle. Loads that exceed the vehicle's capacity may be refused at the point of collection. Overloading is illegal and may result in fines, for which the client is responsible.
4. Client responsibilities
The client is responsible for having someone available to load and offload the vehicle, ensuring the goods are properly secured, and providing safe access to the pick-up and drop-off points. Goods must be lawful — no prohibited, illegal, or dangerous items may be transported.
5. Liability & insurance
Our vehicles are maintained and insured as required by law. Clients are advised to ensure their goods are covered by their own insurance for loss or damage in transit. Our liability for goods in transit is limited to the extent provided by law. Speak to our team if you require a specific liability arrangement.
6. Cancellations
If you need to cancel or reschedule a booking, please contact us by phone or WhatsApp as soon as possible so that the vehicle can be released to other clients. Cancellation fees may apply for late cancellations on confirmed bookings.
7. Second-hand parts
Second-hand parts are sold subject to availability and are supplied "as is" unless a specific warranty is agreed in writing at the point of sale. Availability, condition, and pricing of parts are confirmed by our team on enquiry.
8. General
